How to activate FIDO2 in Salesforce:

Activating FIDO2 in Salesforce involves a few steps. Here's a general overview:

  1. Enable FIDO2 authentication in Salesforce: First, you need to enable FIDO2 authentication in your Salesforce org. This can be done through the Salesforce Setup menu. Go to "Setup" > "Security" > "Session Settings" and select "Enable FIDO2 authentication" option.

  2. Register a FIDO2 security key: Once FIDO2 authentication is enabled, you need to register a FIDO2 security key for your Salesforce account. To do this, log in to your Salesforce account, go to "Setup" > "My Personal Information" > "Personal Information" > "Reset My Security Token" and follow the instructions to register your FIDO2 security key.

  3. Configure FIDO2 authentication policies: You can configure FIDO2 authentication policies to suit your organization's security requirements. This can be done through the Salesforce Setup menu. Go to "Setup" > "Security" > "Session Settings" > "FIDO2 Policies" and select the appropriate policies.

  4. Test FIDO2 authentication: Once you have registered your FIDO2 security key and configured the appropriate policies, test FIDO2 authentication by logging out of Salesforce and logging back in using your FIDO2 security key.

That's it! With these steps, you have successfully activated FIDO2 authentication in Salesforce.
